It all began with Lucy Hernández, our founder, whose story is the heart of Studio Lulisos. From her early days at cosmetology school in Mexico to the challenge of learning and growing in renowned salons, Lucy cultivated a deep connection with the world of hair.
However, it was a personal experience that ignited the spark that brought us here. After migrating to the United States, building a beautiful family, and nearly 15 years away from the scissors, Lucy decided to get a hair straightening treatment. The result was disappointing: dry, dull hair, and a formula loaded with formaldehyde! It was that moment of frustration that compelled her to dive back into hair, not just for herself, but to offer something better.
She dedicated herself to research, found high-quality formaldehyde-free straightening creams, and traveled tirelessly to Mexico and Colombia to master the most advanced techniques in hair straightening and restoration. That relentless pursuit of excellence and hair health is now the foundation of Studio Lulisos.
Since 2022, we have grown into a dedicated team that trains the next generation of professionals through comprehensive online courses and distributes luxury professional products from brands like TopHair Cosmetics, Lizze, and MQ.
